Located east of Asheville. This ski resort features both day and evening skiing. In total there is over 54 acres of skiable terrain. The hill features 100% snowmaking capabilities to ensure snow. Their lodge features a grill, which serves a selection of food. Their ski school offers lessons.

This is the highest ski area in Eastern North America at 5,500 feet. The entire hill has lighting for evening skiing. Choose from many lifts, high speed quad, double, J-bar and towrope. The 15 slopes are designed for beginners and experienced skiers. Also located on the hill is an ice skating rink and snow tubing facility.

Enjoy skiing, snowboarding and now tubing in the Snow Tubing Park. This resort is the only one in North Carolina that is open all week. The resort is open for 17 hours on Friday's. Located in the resort is a ski shop, which sells goggles, gloves, sunglasses and T-shirts.

Ski lessons are offered for people of all ages, including young children. The hill consists of five lifts and nine slopes. Night skiing is available. Located on the ski hill is a snowboard park. The average base is around 80 to 125 inches. Special rates are offered for families, singles and groups.
